Our Doctors

Loren J. Taple, DDS graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1989. He then completed a residency in Advanced General Dentistry at the University of Minnesota in 1990. In 1991 he and Dr Todd Thomas founded Eagan Dental Associates, now Northwood Dental. Dr Taple has served as an adjunct faculty to the University of Minnesota's school of dentistry and has been involved in leadership positions of several dental organizations. He is a past president of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry Alumni Society and a past president of the St Paul District Dental Society. In 2004 he was awarded the Humanitarian of the Year award by the Minnesota Dental Association for his involvement with charitable dentistry here in Minnesota and abroad, for which Dr Taple continues to be involved. In 2010 he was chosen by his peers as a Top Dentist in Minnesota (see July issue of Minnesota Monthly magazine). Dr Taple has three children and resides in St Paul.

Todd M. Thomas, DDS graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1989. He then completed a General Practice at the University of Minnesota in 1990. In 1991 he and Dr Loren Taple founded Eagan Dental Associates, now Northwood Dental. He has dedicated his practice to providing the very best in state of the art dental care. Dr Thomas is an avid outdoors man, he and his wife and their three children reside in Webster.
